Music Information Search is an open-access website that guides users in searching for music-related information


The Music Information Search site introduces various sources for music-related information and provides guidance on how to use them for music research, whether the user is a music student, researcher or hobbyist.

The website also aims to highlight the unique aspects of music information retrieval through practical examples. Most of the sources introduced are openly accessible online. Rather than being a comprehensive list of links, the site is a dynamic resource that evolves and is updated regularly.

Muska working group

This website was created and is maintained by the Muska working group (Musiikkioppilaitoskirjastolaiset), which operates within the Finnish Music Library Association and consists of librarians from music institutes.

The group welcomes all members of the Finnish Music Library Association who are involved in or interested in music-related library work.
